Interreg project Euregio-Chambers selected as one of 30 best practice projects in Europe for territorial cooperation
The European INTERACT programme is part of the Community Initiative
Interreg and seeks to build on the experiences and lessons of Interreg
projects in order to increase its effectiveness. The core of the
INTERACT programme is to set up information and communication networks,
to define information frameworks and flows, to proactively disseminate
information and to stimulate exchange of experiences.
The project “Euregional Business Platform” of the Euregio-Chambers is
one of 30 best practice projects selected to draw up the ‘Territorial
Cooperation Project Management Handbook’. This handbook aims to cover
the all the most common procedures and questions relating to the
development and management of territorial cooperation projects and
provide practical ideas on how to get the most value from these
projects.
The handbook thus provides practical guidance for project managers and
lead partners in territorial cooperation projects in the 2007-2013
programming period. It does so by building on real examples of current
successes in an accessible and easy-to-use format. The project of the
Euregio-Chambers was selected because of its success in project
implementation and the examples provided on how this was achieved.
The handbook will be published soon on the INTERACT website.
