Euregional Seminar on “Family Business and Private Equity”
The members of the Committee Verviers-Eupen of the Forum Financier
Belge (Belgisches Finanz-Forum - Ausschuss Verviers-Eupen) have the
pleasure to inivite you to a Euregional Seminar on “Family Business and
Private Equity” which will be held on February 6, 2007,
15.30-18.30 hrs., in the Dorint Sofitel Quellenhof, Monheimallee 52,
52062 Aachen.
The central theme of the seminar will be the role and the significance
of private equity (PE) and venture capital for (small) family business.
The seminar will provide guidance based on recent academic studies and
experience in small business for family business practice. The language
will be English.

Munich: Private Equity and Family Business - Lessons Learned,
Experiences and Insights by an Academic
Ms. Sabine Rummel, Economic
& Industry Analyst, EVCA-European Private Equity & Venture
Capital Association, Brussels: How can PE interact with Family
Businesses and Family Offices?
Mr. Luc Bertrand, president of the PE-Fund Ackermans & Van Haaren, Antwerp: How can a PE-Fund create Value for a Family Business?
Mr. René Lardenoije, president
of PharmaCell, Biopartner Center Maastricht: The Experience of a
PE-backed Young Entrepreneurial and Innovative Company
will be followed by a panel discussion with the four speakers.
