On 8 december the Euregional Chambers of Commerce organises a
business-seminar lunch about “Doing business in Russia and Ukraine”.
Russia and Ukraine have become increasingly interesting markets since
the last decade. Both countries have become more transparent, the
investment and entrepreneurial climate has improved, tax reductions are
implemented. Furthermore Russia and Ukraine succeeded in having high
growth rates, GDP is expected to rise by 5 tot 6% this year for both
markets. Industries with high potential in Russia are energy
saving related products, logistics and transport and ICT. In Ukraine
besides agro-culture, ICT and transport and logistics, food and energy
are industries with opportunities for foreign investors.
However doing business in these countries is not easy and a lot of
questions about cultural differences, legal and financial matters are
unanswered. This business seminar is an ideal opportunity to have a
good overview about how to do business in Russia and Ukraine.
After the seminar, there is the opportunity to come into contact with
companies from the Euregion Meuse – Rhine who are interested or already
doing business in Russia, Ukraine.
