The
Euregio Chambers organise a Euregional Businesslunch about construction
and project development in the Euregio. Aim is to provide practical
information about border crossing projects. Entrepreneurs will speak
about their experiences in the field of building across the borders
and, afterwards, will have ample opportunity to exchange information
with the other participants and to investigate possibilities for future
cooperation.

Eurlings, Minister of the Government of the Province of Limburg,
visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Aachen and the RWTH Aachen
to exchange information in the field of technology transfer.

The
Dutch-Walloon Businessclub was established in 2004 to provide a
platform for Dutch and Walloon companies to meet, be informed and
network, by organising 5 events per year. In June, the Businessclub met
on the famous race circuit Spa-Francorchamps.

EU and EuRegionale 2008 are giving support to WTC Heerlen Aachen

The
World Trade Center (WTC) Heerlen Aachen will receive INTERREG funds of
the EU as jump start. The WTC received also the prestigious
“EuRegionale 2008 Label”.

Adams, Noteborn and Rena battle it out for first Limburg Export Award. Winner to be announced on 3 October 2006

Recently,
the finalists for the Limburg Export Award were announced by the
vakjury. From the 24 nominated companies, three Limburg companies were
selected to battle for first edition of the Limburg Export Award: Adams
Paukenfabriek BV from Ittervoort, Noteborn BV from Wittem and Rena BV
in Maasbree. This price will be awarded to the company that has shown
exceptional originality, drive and spunk in their international trade
activities.

Maastricht Chamber of Commerce organises a business trip to Hungary for
the branches environment, automotive, ICT and medical technology from
9-12 October 2006. This trip includes visits to important international
